Why would you need a waste service?
If you produce waste, especially if you produce it reguarly, you will need a licensed waste provider to transport your waste and dispose of it in an environmentally responsible manner. Both the transport of waste and disposal of waste must be accompanied by an up-to-date waste transfer note. As is required by law. If it is not, fines and court actions may proceed.

Our standard bin sizes are:
240ltr (household bin),
360ltr (slightly deeper than a household bin),
660ltr (one of the smallest bins on four casters) and
1100ltr (deeper than a 660ltr and one of the larger bins on four casters).
What waste types can go in the bin?
We can offer collections for most waste types. There could be constraints of what can go in the bin, due to weight but our friendly team of adviorys will be able to point you in the right direction for the bin to suit you.
All of our general waste or mixed waste is processed at a material recovery facility local to you. This means it dosent have to travel as far and the CO2 entering the environment is limited. We currently are experiencing recycling rates of up to 84% of all general waste, improving as technology does.
Our recylable collections include: cardboard, plastic's, papers, all metals, a range of vinyls, textiles, electronics, pvc, asbestos, plasterboard, used cooking oil, motor oil, contaminated rags and containers, food waste, batteries, glass, wood, soil, brick, stone and clay with many many more to come!

How will my collections be carried out?
All of our collections are carried out in fully licensed and insured vans and ash carts. Each vehicle is specially designed with waste collections in mind. We educate our drivers on vehicle control to limit the fuel used and to improve our health and safety when visiting sites.
The drivers are friendly and more than happy to chat to discuss the best routes to your help and our office is always on hand if you have any quieries.
Thinking of switching?
We take care of cancelling your existing waste supplier to ensure the rollout of our waste service is smooth. This usually takes one month but if you have a relaxed contract or no service, we can usually get your bins on next day.
In some circumstances, where your contract is particuarly difficult, we may ask you to aid us in the switch over
Certification and legislation
We ensure all of our customers are legally compliant in what they are planning to dispose of. We will issue you with a waste transfer which you will need to keep hold of for two years after issue.
This is to ensure all of the waste from your premises is legally traceable.
We issue each of our customers with a complimentary envionmental policy, required for obtaining ISO's 9001 and 14001, to help your business win more business and all of our customers automatically join the Rocket Recycling landfill diversion scheme.
